About Me

My name is Chuck Laughery. I have performed and taught music for over forty years in Lincoln and throughout a great deal of the country. I began performing professionally when I was fourteen years old on Keyboard and Saxophone. After receiving my Music Degree from Western Illinois University, I worked in several different organizations arranging music and performing throughout the U. S. and Canada. I began teaching at Lincoln Community High School in 1980, and directed both the Instrumental and Vocal music programs until my disability retirement in 1992. Following LCHS I managed Lincoln Music Center until it was closed in 2003. Ihave worked with amateur and professional organizations in every style of music.  I presently perform with The Postville Opry in Lincoln.
